Sorry for the fall colour! This particular tree changes early because of the dry conditions where it grows rather than anything to do with species. (I do not know what species this tree is).
Oooo a maple variety that I have a tricky time recognizing/IDing confidently from the get-go XD excellent. The fall colour is fiiiine, and more importantly the photos are clear cut, just what I need for practice lol! Thanks for the submission ^_^
Correct me if I’m wrong my followers, but judging from the leaf alone, I’d say that this is a Sugar Maple Acer saccharum (speaking of which; is the tree ripe with Samaras? Both Sugar maples and Norway maples are often heavy with seeds this time of year), as the leaf margins are rounded, unlike the sharp pointy margins of a Red maple.
It’s funny how I keep hearing how Sugar Maples are not recommended as good city trees, yet I keep seeing them in the city here and there lol. (<- and that last part might be because I was possibly misinformed lol)
